Aurora Access UI — Free Accessibility-Oriented Game UI Starter

Aurora Access UI is a free, genuinely usable starter set for sci-fi and futuristic game interfaces.

It is designed around clear hierarchy, high contrast, and interaction states that do not rely on color alone. The production components are textless and engine-neutral, so you can add your own localized labels and use them in Unity, Godot, Unreal, GameMaker, web games, or a custom engine.

INCLUDED IN THIS FREE SAMPLE

• Primary and secondary buttons

• Default, hover, focus, pressed, and disabled states

• Main and compact panel backgrounds

• On/off toggles and checked/unchecked boxes

• A standalone focus frame

• Accessibility, captions, contrast, volume, back, and play icons

• Editable SVG originals

• Transparent PNG exports at 1x and 2x

• One complete 16:9 menu-screen example

Focus is communicated with corner brackets, a directional marker, an underline, and color. Toggle state uses position plus check/cross symbols. Important icons are designed to be paired with text.

These assets provide visual cues only: redundant non-color markers, high-contrast states, visible focus indicators, and multiple interaction states. They do not include or claim screen-reader support, focus-order behavior, input accessibility, WCAG compliance, or full-game accessibility.

The starter sample is released under CC0 1.0. You may use and modify it in personal or commercial projects without attribution. The sample is provided without warranties.

POSSIBLE EXPANDED PACK

I am considering a larger US$12 edition with additional navigation states, settings controls, modal windows, HUD elements, controller prompts, and more layout examples.
